Fleishman-Hillard, Saint Louis, Missouri 2009 – 2010 Front-end Web Development, Contractor

Responsible for development of websites, Internet graphics production, content implementation related to advertising campaigns of AT&T and other Fleishman-Hilliard’s clients, cooperated with Web designers and programmers: Development, on-stage-testing and deployment of News Releases of AT&T About Us section utilizing the advanced CSS and HTML markup language as well as the Team Site content management system. Managed various Flash/XML driven video carousels and HTML/XML driven AT&T Multimedia Gallery. Produced Internet graphics (with advanced Photoshop techniques) and new web pages from Photoshop mockups. Implemented SEO requirements of various AT&T websites. Updated website User Interface and visual appearance via advanced CSS and content management systems.

University of California Office of the President, Oakland, California 2003 – 2008 Web Designer/Developer

Oversaw design and development of multiple university websites. Continued to administer, maintain and update websites. Solely responsible for the planning and execution of various development project initiatives, from concept to completion. Worked with back–end programmers in the development and content implementation of various interactive web applications. Developed and updated online admission application style guide.
Key Projects & Achievements:

  • Spearheaded design, user interface planning, development and implementation of Campus Life CSS-driven website. Leveraged coding based on the first rule of accessibility: separating structure from presentation; resulting in faster, streamlined website performance while attaining full site functionality without the need for JavaScript.
  • Authored prototype and website templates for entire Division of Academic and Health Affairs.
  • Orchestrated design and development of websites for UC Admissions and Counselors.
  • Collaborated closely with UCOP Academic Planning &Information Services Department regarding redrafting of the University of California’s homepage.
  • Designed look and feel of application virtual tour, as well as several web tools and websites.
  • Instrumental in design of user interface (flow charts, schematics): worked closely with back–end programmers in development and implementation of GTO project as well as UC Online Admission Application.

Led design and development of e–commerce stores and static content sites for a diverse array of corporate clients. Designed, developed and maintained company website, establishing corporate image and conveying corporate goals. Supervised and mentored a team of five designers. Delivered presentations to clients on status of Web projects.

Performed all aspects of Web design and development and graphic design for a diverse customer base comprised of corporate, individual and non–profit clients. Designed websites from concept to launch. Maintained and updated sites including search engine optimization, optimization of Web graphics, and testing for cross–platform/browser compatibility.
